Brazil Lands in Buenos Aires for Classic Match Against Argentina
The Brazilian National Team landed in Buenos Aires on Monday evening (25) for the classic match against Argentina, for the 14th round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Upon arrival at the hotel, many fans welcomed the athletes, who reciprocated by taking photos and signing autographs.
The chartered flight to the Argentine capital lasted approximately three hours. The delegation bid farewell to Brasília, where they felt the fans’ affection for the National Team.
Earlier, the Yellows conducted their final training session for the match at Mané Garrincha stadium this morning. The game will be played at 9 PM on Tuesday (25) at Monumental de Nuñez, the River Plate stadium.
Among the changes announced by coach Dorival Jr. are the inclusions of Wesley and Matheus Cunha in the team.
After the 2-1 victory over Colombia last Thursday (20), Brazil occupies third place in the Qualifiers with 21 points, seven points behind leaders Argentina, who have 28 points.
